Next stop in Myanmar was the beautiful Inle Lake, where we lived in the town just north of the lake. If you stay longer, I can recommend living just next to the lake, which will give you the must amazing sunsets and sunrises.
We stayed for 2 days, where the first day was spent on the lake, sailing around seeing different attractions meeting the locals. The second day we did hiking on the East Mountain, where I saw a snake in nature for the first time. (I'll let the photos speak for itself)
Locals walking back from the morning work in the fields
Wasn't the biggest snake, but enough to make os stand dead still and hold our breath
Delicious Shan noodles

Selfie with our trekking guide, fascinating to hear his life story and hearing about his dreams about opening a bed & breakfast with his wife
