Watching whales very close without sailing, from the shore (Puerto Madryn -Argentina)
Last year i traveled to Argentina for 5 months. Definitely the place I enjoyed the most was Puerto Madryn (Patagonia, on the atlantic coast). I never imagined it was possible to watch whales very close from the beach, without sailing. It was the best experience with wild animals that i've ever had.
I visited Puerto Madryn on august and the whale season is from July to November. Near Puerto Madryn there is a beach called El Doradillo. The best time of the day is hight tide. We went one hour before high tide and stayed there for 3 hours. We saw whales with and their babys, that was amazing.
The pictures were taken by my boyfriend.
It was sunny but it was cold, it was winter
That day i felt so grateful for the opportunity to share some time with this big mammals.
Thanks for reading.
