Trips around Perú: Tanaka beach, no sand but great rock pools

in #travel7 years ago (edited)

This summer I came back to my favorite beach in my country Perú: Tanaka. The peruvian coast is on the pacific ocean, the water is cold, the sand is brown and there is always waves. But Tanaka is completely different. It is a small town with a rocky coast that form rock pools. There is no sand, it is windy but I love Tanaka because i can float with the tide.

My mom enjoyed Tanaka a lot.

The water is very transparent, not as much as the Caribbean Sea, but it is very clear compared to other Peruvian beaches. There are several small fish, they bite but it feels like tickling.

I also like Tanaka a lot because it is a small town, quiet and safe town. No stress.
