Sinki Pyramid, near Abydos, Egypt
This is all that remains of what is referred to as the Sinki Pyramid, which is about 8kms south of Abydos. All the stones have been taken, probably to build houses. All that is left looks like petrified wood. It is believed this dates to one of the earliest dynasties. If you like a bit of adventure there are so many off the beaten path, no admission fee sites to explore in Egypt. They may not have the beautiful images & hieroglyphs, yet for those who like to explore & ponder these sites are great
