Lions Hunting Giraffs on a main road in Africa

in #travel7 years ago (edited)

I’m an African, you might think I’ve touched a lion somewhere near my house before. Perhaps you’d also like to know what a sight it is to behold when you see a giraff kick the King of the Jungle faster than Bruce Lee’s kicks.... No seriously, his fight scenes were actually put in slow motion so that we can see those kicks fly.
Now back to the giraff’s kick!

You are often lucky to catch the animals in a moment as such when you go to a game reserve or safari. Especially when the presence of humans and sounding vehicle engines often interrupt animal activity and eat their attention.
I mean lets face it steemers animals and humans generally dont live together because our habitats are far too different from each other.

An animal habitat:

Ofcourse

This all animals need, water, grass/forest, sweet sunsets, family, peace, bonding, love, and maybe a zebra to chase, capture and tear apart at lunchtime...

Now here is a human habitat, a place an animal can hardly survive

The interesting thing is how on earth people think that we actually DO have wild animals roaming the streets of Africa. Isn’t it logic that where humans inhabit and populate, the wild animals will generally disperse from that area?Because humans have to cut the trees, create rails, more tarred roads and put fences around water sources to avoid pollution. And much more ofcourse. By doing so, we are damaging the animal habitat.

I’ve traveled around most of the countries in Southern Africa. I mean I was raised there. We can see or hear of dog bites, cats chasing mice, occasionally people getting ass kicked by mobs, but one thing that is absurd to hear, I mean extreamly ludicrous, is that some lions and giraffs be roaming the main roads of our modernised cities!

Oh.... well, there must be an explanation to that...

That was during a filming in Johannesburg South Africa, they had to borrow the lion from a near by zoo and request for the roads to be closed down.

If you rewind a little, some of you are prone to wonder “did he just use the word modernized and Africa in the same sentence? ‘CITIES?’ Like, do they have cities?”

Perhaps that is why your reading this post because the media has preprogrammed you into thinking that unindustrialized 3rd world Africa definitely has lions and giraffs roaming the cities and high-5ing humans... with their teeth.
I haven’t even talked about how giraffs kick yet, that’s because my African ass has never seen it before (well except on television).

So, thanks to platforms like #Steemitschool that this is the place where you can access knowledge and free yourself of all the naiveness this world has put you through.

Truly, there are countries in Africa that are developed beyond imagination. I grew up them. And YES, it snows. But the reason why I don't bother trying to convince anyone who thinks we’re surrounded by wild animals is because people’s ignorance about Africa is NOT the actual problem.
The real problem is people being naive and gullible enough to believe anything from movies and the media except that which is obviously fiction. That's what I find bothering. Only a few people understand that the media is controlled by a people of interest. And in the world there is no light.
I would like to share why the western (and perhaps European) big media industries hide the prosperities of Africa, but perhaps I might be getting into so called controversy theories and is this really the platform for that?

How about a little advise from the bible?
The time is here when the media is used to indoctrinate people with false teachings and blind them from the realities of this world. He uses the powers of the elite to control what the news media broadcasts. They "shall say, peace and safety" to hide from us the ongoing events that are signs for Christ's return. "For such persons do not serve our Lord Christ, but their own appetites, and by smooth talk and flattery they deceive the hearts of the naive."- Romans 16:18 (ESV), 1Thessal 5:3(KJV)

But if you aren’t into the bible like that, consider these snaps of African cities:

The above photo is of Cape Town South Africa, one of the cities where Fifa World Cup 2010 was held.
