Hey guys, so in this video I talk about how you can save massively on your travels and make cash along the way. I will go into this in more detail in a future video...

Here's a simple way you can save on ALL your online purchases via Ebates ==>http://www.aff1.xyz/ebatesvid1
(Yep, it's 100% free to sign up to ebates)

Basically ebates is a cash-back website that offers anywhere up to 20% back as a cash rebate on your online purchases. Now here's the cool thing....

All you need to do is visit the websites you would visit anyway to make your purchases (think amazon, walmart, sears, expedia etc). In fact they are adding new stores on a regular basis. If you're using google chrome, there is a browser app that will alert you to whether you are on a shopping site that will allow you to save. Then, when you purchase, you get an automated rebate of anywhere from a few %, up to 20% and more.

So you can save on items you would purchase anyway! Now, here's the really funky part...

If you send a link to your friends and family to help them save on their purchases, you get $25 per person you refer! How cool is that?! Surely we all know four people that shop online. If they sign up for a free account (and qualify i.e make a purchase), you'll get $100!

That means you not only save on your everyday purchases, you also get to make money on the other side. Wait, it gets even better...

If sign someone up, and they qualify (i.e make a purchase within a three month period), you get $25, and they get $10 just for signing on!

How does this relate to saving on travel? Well, if you use expedia to book flights or travel of any kind you can save up to 7%. Of course this isn't a huge amount, but on a purchase of say $1000, that's still a rebate of $70. Not bad huh!

Here's where it gets even better....

The rebate will apply to current sales, so you get an even bigger discount in some cases!

The other way we have been able to save on our flights, transport and accommodation is by 'card cycling'. That is to apply for credit cards that offer airpoints as a reward for signing up. In some cases my wife and I were able to get 150,000 airpoints which we were able to use towards our flights and accommodation.

(A little caveat on the above: I am in no way a financial advisor, and in no way am I offering financial advice. This is merely my experience, and does not take into consideration your own situation, credit ratings, financial position or any means you may have. I do advise seeking independent financial advice if you are looking to implement this strategy).

After you have qualified for the airpoints (there is usually a minimum spend in order to get the points), you can cancel the card or use it if you like. The risk of course is that these will usually involve a credit check which may show up on your credit file. Please refer to the disclaimer above.

So after all this, we managed to amass over 300,000 airpoints which we've used for our upcoming trip to Europe.

I will expand upon these methods in future, but let me know what you think....

Do you have any ways you've been able to save on your travels?
