我们来了之美国游记。 United States, here we came! part 1

The plane landed in the sunset in Los Angeles. United States, here we came! A little while ago, we accompanied the elderly family member travel to United States, we are so excited to this fresh city.

飞机降落在夕阳余晖下的洛杉矶，美国，我们来了！ 前段时间，陪着家里的老人去美国走了一趟，刚到美国一家人都很新鲜。

因为这次主要目的是帮老人实现出国玩玩得心愿，所以这次我制定的行程都是比较少走路，多坐车的轻松路线。
Because the main purpose of this trip is to help the elderly family member to travel abroad and realize her dream. Therefore I design the scheduling as a very relaxed trip with less walking, most trips are traveling by car or train.
到了洛杉矶，我们就在希尔顿酒店休息了，楼下游泳池里还有不少人在游泳。酒店边上是个超大的停车场。
After we arrived in Los Angeles, we stay in the Hilton Hotel. From our room’s window, there are many people swimming in the swimming pool downstairs. The hotel is near a large car parking.

酒店的装修非常现代化。
The hotel's decoration is very modern.

我们去吃了一家非常好吃的意大利餐厅。这个意式宽面非常的好吃。
We went to eat a very delicious Italian restaurant. This lasagne is so delicious.

紧接着第二天，我们就穿过洛杉矶国王火车站，登上西海岸海岸星光列车。
Then the next day, we passed the King Railway Station in Los Angeles, boarded the Coast Starlight train.

从洛杉矶开往西雅图，途径圣芭芭拉，旧金山湾区，波特兰到达终点站，火车一共穿过3个州，28个大大小小的城市，路线全长2,216公里。
This train start from Los Angeles to Seattle, on the way we pass the Santa Barbara, San Francisco Bay Area, Portland. The train will pass three states, 28 large or small cities, the route length is around 2,216 km.

这个连接了西海岸的各大城市的火车，据说还是美国西海岸最美的风景火车线呢。
The train, which connects the major cities of the West Coast. It is said Coast Starlight is the most beautiful train line on the west coast of the United States.

所以我觉得这是带着老人游玩最完美的方式了。虽然坐火车并不是把时间利用的有效率的最佳方式，并且大多数情况下，美国的火车耗时普遍比汽车长。
So I think this is the most perfect way to play with the elderly family member. While the train is not the best way to take save the time, and in most cases, generally you will spend much longer time travel by trains than cars in American.

海岸星光线列车作为专门的观光火车，全程35个小时，所以在火车上既能休息，又可以看风景，一举两得了。
Coast Starlight as a special sightseeing train, it will take 35 hours in total. We can have rest in train, also can see the wonderful scenery of west coast.

海岸星光号列车内的全部都是观景车厢，视野很开阔，基本上算是全景模式的火车了。
Coast Starlight train is all the sightseeing car, the vision is very open. It basically regarded as a panoramic mode of the train.

观景车厢内，座位设置非常独特，都是面向着窗外的座位，好像个个都是VIP座位。下午的大部分时间，列车一直沿着西海岸行驶，窗外景色变幻莫测，有的路段离海很近，感觉自己就置身在海岸边的悬崖上。下面是一些风景照，希望大家喜欢，请继续关注我接下来的旅行故事。

The seat is designed very unique, all the seats are facing the window, seems like all are VIP seats. Most of the time in the afternoon, the train has been passed along the west coast, the scenery outside the window is unpredictable.
