#21 : Berlenga Grande, Portugal
Berlengas - an archipelago of small islands in the Atlantic Ocean, located 10 to 15 km from the Portuguese coast, at the height of the city of Peniche. The archipelago consists of three groups of islands: Berlenga Grande - along with nearby islets, Estelas, Farilhões. On the largest island of the archipelago (Berlenga Grande) there is a fortress and a lighthouse. On the Berlenga Grande island, during the reign of John IV (1640-1656) a fortress was built for them.
