🇩🇪 Nach einer einer Stunde Autofahrt sind wir, morgens um ca. 06:30 Uhr, wohlbehalten in unserer Unterkunft in Kamala, Phuket in Thailand angekommen.

Jetzt standen wir vor unserer Unterkunft mit viel Gepäck und Müdigkeit. Unseren Vermieter hatten wir kurz gesprochen und er meinte, dass wir vor 14:00 Uhr nicht in unser Zimmer kommen. Das Gepäck können wir aber auf dem Grundstück stehen lassen (keine Türe lies sich von außen zuschließen 🤔). Wir waren uns nicht sicher, ob wir unser Gepäck wirklich hier stehen lassen wollten, aber mitschleppen wollten wir sie auch nicht. Wir haben dann ein relativ gutes Plätzchen gefunden, wo sie erstmal stehen bleiben konnten.

Jetzt war es ca. 07:00 Uhr und es wurde schon jetzt ziemlich warm. Wir hatten aber noch unsere langen Hosen an und das war definitiv zu warm! Also mussten wir uns schnell umziehen und das vor dem Eingang der Unterkunft (aber um diese Zeit war noch nichts los und es ging schnell 😉).

Danach haben wir die Gegend erkundet und sind in Richtung Strand 🏖 gelaufen. Um zum Strand zu kommen, mussten wir über ein große Straße laufen. Was uns nicht gefallen hat, denn über 4 Spuren fuhren relativ viele Motorroller und Autos und das in für uns ungewohnter Richtung (Linksverkehr) 😱.

Als wir am Strand angekommen sind haben wir uns wohlgefüllt. Wir sind den Strand auf und abgelaufen und haben geschaut was es hier so alles gibt. Ganz besonders für uns war das warme Meereswasser der Andamanensee Anfang April. ☺️ Irgendwann meldete sich der Hunger und wir haben jeder an einem Strandimbiss einen Pancake gegessen. 

Die restliche Zeit, bis unser Zimmer fertig wurde, haben wir im Schatten am Strand verbracht und eine Kokosnuss getrunken. Jedoch hatten wir uns trotz schattigem Plätzchen ordentlich verbrannt, denn wir hatten uns garnicht eingecreamt gehabt 😬)

14:00 Uhr haben wir uns unsere neue Unterkunft angeschaut und waren soweit zufrieden. Unser Zimmer war nichts besonderes - ein Doppelbett, ein Sofa zwei kleine Tische, 2 Nachttische, eine Küchenzeile ohne Herd, nur Microwelle sowie ein Badezimmer mit Dusche und eine Terrasse mit 2 Stühlen und einem Tisch. Von der Terrasse aus konnten wir gleich in den Pool springen.

Leo hat es geliebt im Pool zu baden. Er mochte es nur (noch) nicht seinen Kopf unter Wasser zu tauchen.

🇺🇸  After an hour drive we arrived in the morning at about 06:30 in our accommodation in Kamala, Phuket in Thailand. 

Now we were standing in front of our accommodation with lots of luggage and fatigue. We had briefly talked to the owner and he said, that we did not come to our room before 14:00 o'clock. We can leave the luggage on the property (no door locked from the outside 🤔). We were not sure if we really wanted to leave our luggage here, but we did not want to drag them. We then found a relatively good place, where they could first stop.

Now it was about 07:00 o'clock and it was already quite warm. We still had our long pants and it was definitely too warm! So we had to change our clothes quickly and in front of the entrance of the accommodation (but at this time there was nothing going on and it went quickly 😉).

Then we explored the area and went to the beach. To get to the beach, we had to walk across a large road. What we did not like, because over 4 tracks drove relatively many scooters and cars and the in us unusual direction (left-hand drive) 😱.

When we arrived at the beach we were well-filled. We strolled the beach up and down and have looked what it is so here. Especially for us was the warm seawater of the Andaman Sea in early April. Sometime the hunger came and we each ate a pancake at the beach.

The rest of the time until our room was finished, we spent in the shade on the beach and a coconut drunk. However, despite the shady spot, we had burned ourselves properly, because we had not put suncream on ourselves 😬.

14:00 clock we have our new accommodation looked at and were so far satisfied. Our room was nothing special - just a double bedroom with an additional sofa, two small tables, two bedside tables, a kitchenette without stove, only microwave as well as a bathroom with shower and a terrace with 2 chairs and a table. From the terrace we could immediately jump into the pool

Leo loved swimming in the pool. He just did not want to dive his head under water, yet.
