"Reborn as the Villain: My Redemption System is Broken"
The First Betrayal
The moment I opened my eyes, cold steel pressed against my throat. Before me stood the male lead - the man I'd supposedly "betrayed" in the original novel - his sword dripping with the blood of my guards.
"You have three seconds to explain why I shouldn't execute you," he hissed.
The System panel flashed urgently:
[WARNING! Original Plot Deviation Detected]
[Current Survival Probability: 0.7%]
I did the only thing I could think of - I laughed. Not the delicate chuckle of a noble lady, but a full, unhinged cackle that made even the battle-hardened warriors flinch.
"Kill me," I challenged, tilting my neck against the blade, "and you'll never find out who really poisoned your brother."
His sword wavered. The System buzzed:
[+500 Villain Points! New Skill Unlocked: "Bluff Master"]
But the real shock came next. The supposedly "kind-hearted" female lead stepped forward, her eyes gleaming with something far darker than the novel had described. "Let her live," she purred. "I want to play with her first."

When trapped in a villain's role, is it better to:
Embrace the evil and gain power, or
Fight for redemption against all odds?
