How I Transformed My Fitness Journey: The Struggles, Setbacks, and SuccessessteemCreated with Sketch.

Hey Steemians! 👋

I’ve been on a fitness journey that’s been nothing short of challenging but incredibly rewarding. I’m sharing my story not because I’m a fitness guru, but because I’m just like many of you – someone who’s struggled with consistency, motivation, and figuring out what works best for me.

The Turning Point
For years, I tried different diets, workout routines, and lifestyle changes, but nothing seemed to stick. I realized I needed to make a lasting change, not just a temporary fix. That’s when I decided to make small but consistent daily habits that have gradually transformed my life.

My Daily Routine: A Step-by-Step Guide
I started with simple exercises:

Pushups and Squats: I began with 40-50 each day and now slowly increasing my pushup count by 2 daily. My goal? To reach 100 pushups a day! 🏋️‍♂️
Dumbbell Workouts: I’m doing 3 sets of 12 reps with 5 kg dumbbells. It might not sound like much, but it’s all about starting small and staying consistent.
Consistency Over Perfection: Some days, I felt too tired, and some days I wasn’t motivated, but I showed up every day even if it meant doing fewer reps.
Overcoming Setbacks
Not gonna lie – it’s been tough. 😓 There were days when I just wanted to give up. But I’ve found that the real victory comes from pushing through the rough days. I’d remind myself that progress is progress, no matter how small. Each pushup, each squat, was one step closer to my goal.

What I've Learned Along the Way
Set realistic goals: Aim for small daily improvements rather than massive, unrealistic targets.
Celebrate the small wins: Did 2 more pushups today? That’s progress!
Find what motivates you: For me, it’s seeing those small gains translate into strength and energy.
My Fitness Goals for the Next 30 Days
I’m challenging myself to reach 100 pushups a day by the end of the month and adding a few new exercises into my routine. Stay tuned – I’ll be posting updates on my progress and sharing more tips along the way.
