Steem Backed Dollars (SBD) down 9.47% / Steem down 12.04% in the last 24 hours on Poloniex
It looks like things are nice and volatile today with some pretty decent swings in prices right now on the exchanges. What do you all make of it? Is ETH trading being back online in a big way causing some shifting around of capital? Is it SteemIt moving to invite-only mode? Is it merely the nature of a new and rapidly growing cryptocurrency, or is there something else at play (maybe all of the above)?
cheap price! fill your bags
power downs being cashed out
I actually hadn't considered that, but that is definitely something worth tracking. Especially ~1 week after posts hit it REALLY big for the first time for a given user/set of users.
like every crypto... bull & bear market... prices will go up & down again and again and again....
Thankfully it's possible to make money as long as it's moving. The bigger the moves the more opportunity is there. This one actually did genuinely catch me off guard. I stopped watching yesterday to get work done, and was pretty surprised to see what had transpired during my absence.
maybe the forbidden ot sign up of steemit is the first reason.
