Firstly, the name is not great. USMCA does not exactly roll off the tongue. MUSC would have been better. Easier to pronounce and more logical as the countries move from south to north.
Secondly, Trump looks comical in the photograph. It just screams look what I've done folks, I suck at negotiating.
Thirdly, 25% tax on Canadian Steel is huge. Trudeau shouldn't have agreed to that. Maybe Trump will be a hero in a few months time and pull it.
Fourthly, Canada have a great selection of non-dairy milk. I'm a fan of Almond Milk. I'm not sure how many Canadians will want American Dairy.
Fifthly, I think Mexicans should have their own unions. I just don't think the American Government should get involved in creating them. This action should sit with the workers themselves.
