Trade.io | One more reason why you should get in

in #trade-io6 years ago (edited)

Good evening guys, let's do something quick on trade.io. And that would be none other than the trade.io liquidity pool. I have been using this concept of trade.io implicitly in my last few posts on trade.io. Today, I will be going into more details on the trade.io liquidity pool. For those who missed my last few posts on trade.io, let me quickly go on to talk about what trade.io means and then explain briefly the idea behind the liquidity pool. Then afterwards, we go into specific details that would enhance your understanding of the whole thing.

Trade.io is a next generation financial firm or institution modeled for use of blockchain technology. Through the use of blockchain technology, it guarantees its users with a transparent, secure and reliable system through one of its products- the Trade.io exchange. Also, it has a highly reliable ICO consulting (with respect to planning, design and marketing) service together with an Angel Investment program.

One good question is how does get to be a part of the trade.io system. You have to buy into the liquidity pool.

What is the Trade.io Liquidity Pool

the liquidity pool behaves the same way as a lending pool. Users on trade.io will use their TIO's (Trade.io Token) to gain access to this pool. Participants on the platform can easily loan the pool their financial assets where at the end of each trading round, profits or losses will be generated. The USD equivalent of the assets will be held until the user exits the pool.

One other important feature of the liquidity pool is that users get to participate using TIO's. This is what users use for the lending to the liquidity pool. Participants can also contribute with other financial assets such as; fiat currencies, cryptocurrencies and others. As reward for such participation (I.e lending financial assets to the liquidity pool), trade.io pays interest to participants or users. However, the contributed asset will remain in the pool until participants choose to exit the pool. You may refer to such contribution as capital if you want because in my opinion, that's exactly what it is.

It is expedient also to know that there's no significant relationship between the use of trade tokens as assets for contribution and rewards from the liquidity pool even though the trade token is the only way to access the pool. The reward a participant receives is proportional to the amount of assets contributed.

What is the liquidity pool made of?

The liquidity pool has certain features and quickly let's take a look at all of that.

  1. An initial capital (seed capital) of $50 million provided by Trade.io.
  2. $50 million worth of TIO (Trade token) to improve liquidity while protecting user's and reducing participation risk.
  3. The balance sheet of TIO and the customer's balance sheet of TIO.
  4. Trade.io putting in so much will be at the fore front bearing the risk capital.
  5. Clients can easily lend other kinds of assets aside the trade token. This includes, fiat and cryptocurrencies.

To participate

To participate, it is prerequisite that users own some TIOs. So to participate, users must be TIO holders. There are 3 important requirements (steps) for participation;

  1. A minimum of 2,500 TIOs in your trade.io wallet.
  2. Click on the "join liquidity pool" button in the TIO exchange members area.
  3. Entering during appointed enter/exit time.

Those are the three basic things when it comes to participating in the liquidity pool. Let's take a step further and that would be the last for this blog. Where does the rewards come from?

How the liquidity pool generate interest for participants

  • Participants lend their assets in various forms to the pool. With this, the company makes market and provide liquidity through a balance sheet that's associated with the Token or assets invested initially in the liquidity pool.
  • Interest will be distributed to participants in the form of the assets generated from the assets loaned to the pool.
  • The participants get to receive 50% of the funds generated from the liquidity pool.

That's the basic information you need about trade.io liquidity pool. Aside this, you can also try out the other features of trade.io such as their ICO consulting services and also, the Angel Investment Program among many other things they offer. Remember, when you think about trade.io secure, fast, flexible, customizable, and transparent comes to mind.
