Is 'Toyota' the most reliable car manufacturer?

Undoubtedly Toyota makes the most reliable cars in the market. At first it was named as ‘Toyoda’. Then it was named as ‘Toyota’ which is regarded as a lucky number. Toyota started as a company independently in 1937. Toyota at first used to make trucks at the time of WWII for the army. The trucks were used to keep as simple as possible. Ex. There used to have only one headlight which was used to be in the center of the hood.

Toyota started building passenger cars in 1947 when they had to face economic difficulty. Toyota corolla was a legendary model for Toyota. It was introduced in 1966 and became the best-selling car in 1974. In 1997, Corolla crossed Volkswagen Beetle in selling. The best Corolla car from my point of view is produced from 1992-1994. It was the best of the best and it’s a legend. Corolla’s main competitor was Nissan ‘Sunny’ which was introduced in the same year as Corolla. Other competitor was Mitsubishi ‘Lancer’ and Honda ‘Civic’.

Toyota used to make rear wheel drive cars before. Then it started making front wheel drive cars. Toyota also produces four wheel drive cars too. The first car to arrive in North America was five Land Cruiser.
Now Toyota owns Lexus, Scion, Daihatsu and Hino Motors, with a stake in Fuji Industries and also Isuzu. It also has shares on ‘Tesla’.
In this time Toyota has earned the tag of ‘Reliable’ by its users. Now Toyota is the biggest car manufacturer in the world.

Now the question is what made Toyota Most Reliable?
They have worked in many attributes for being the most reliable vehicle in the world.

1. R&D: Toyota spends a huge amount of money in research and development. In fact, as their website, they spend more than $1.1 million in every hour to make a vehicle safer.
2. Designs: Toyota does not change their design easily. When they change their design, they make sure the design is safe and reliable.
   Though every company maintains its quality standard but Toyota maintains it with a high quality standards which makes Toyota more reliable. Though now Honda is giving a tough fight with Toyota but I still think that Toyota is more reliable than Honda.
