I agree with him - to the point that I stopped visiting the UK. I used to come there to enjoy just being in London. I loved the atmosphere, the theatre, the shopping and the few friends I had. The friends are all gone - and so is everything else.

Since I do not enjoy having acid thrown at my face or being knifed, there is no reason for me to come again.
