The Maiar: Salmar

Salmar was a Maia and he's the one who created the Ulumúri, a sort of music generator in the form of conches which he made for his lord, Ulmo the Valar; this conches created the music of the sea. Of this Maia little is known as he is only briefly mentioned in the Silmarillion's index, not even in the story.
