I am a little torn when I see AI technology startups and application research starting which seems to be almost daily nowadays. You can probably guess the reason for this dichotomy of thought.

Conspiracy theory thinking aside, I do have some genuine concerns regarding AI going forward or indeed being manipulated by being held in the wrong, nefarious, power and greed obsessed hands.

But that said, this technology has some amazing potential applications and could perform a revolution in our modern, busy lives and the dbrain idea places the development in the hands of everyman this is exciting.

Only time will tell where AI development will lead us, my suspicion is a little from column A and a little from column B, hopefully the rise in blockchain technologies gives us a transparent way of spreading the word fast when whistle-blowing sheds light on the sinister application of AI technology.

Very interesting and more than intriguing.
