My Brain Just Did a Thing: Random Thoughts Before Lunch 🤪
Hey Steemit peeps! 👋 It's your girl, smart.phone, back again. I was just sitting here, waiting for my lunch to heat up (leftover pizza, don't judge 🍕), and my brain just went on a total tangent. I figured, why not share the chaos with you all?
So, here are the random thoughts swirling around in my head right now:
Why are socks always disappearing in the laundry? Seriously, where DO they go? Is there, like, a sock monster living in my washing machine? 🤔 I'm starting to think I need to buy, like, 50 pairs of the same socks so at least I'll always have a match. Problem solved! (Maybe...)
What's the deal with people who walk super slow in the grocery store? I mean, I get it, some people can't move fast, and that's totally fine. But then there are those people... the ones who seem to be intentionally blocking the aisle while staring at the pickles like they've never seen one before. 🚶♀️💨 Get out of my way, I need my pickles! 🤣
Is it just me, or does technology make us both smarter and dumber at the same time? Like, I can Google the answer to anything instantly, but I can't remember my own phone number without looking. 🤯 It's a weird trade-off.
Why are cats so obsessed with boxes? My cat, Whiskers, will ignore all the fancy toys I buy him, but give him an empty cardboard box and he's in heaven. 😻 Is it a safety thing? A comfort thing? A "I'm the king of this cardboard kingdom" thing? Who knows! Cats are weird. But I love 'em.
And finally... Should I start a vegetable garden this year? I kinda have a black thumb (everything I touch seems to die 🥀), but the thought of fresh tomatoes and cucumbers from my own backyard is super appealing. Maybe I'll just stick to herbs... those seem a little more forgiving. 🌿
