The art of living in the real world.

I believe that the worlds within and outside of our heads are extremely different. We fabricate realities—whether they are about a person or a situation—in order to satisfy our desires. Our expectations grow to unreasonably high levels. It was us who set the bar too high. But then, reality enters the game. And we get disappointed. The grass on the other side of the fence then appears to be greener. Our "wants" then grow. We begin to want new experiences, new people, new shoes, new phone and some even begin to want a new life. This is a never-ending cycle unless you begin to accept reality as it is and stop being blind to its flaws.
