AOC Irks Me... She's an Imbecile

AOC (Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez) and Donald Trump are currently engaged in a public spat, and I feel compelled to share my thoughts on AOC. In my view, she's largely a performative politician—more focused on pushing propaganda and narratives of victimhood than on producing meaningful legislative results.

Her calls for Trump’s impeachment are fair game, and Trump’s dramatic response—though theatrical—is also within bounds. Even her most recent reply wasn’t out of line on its own. What bothers me is her tendency to play the victim, especially while turning a blind eye to longstanding precedents, like presidents authorizing military strikes without congressional approval. She picks and chooses when to be outraged, often ignoring inconvenient truths.

AOC has built much of her political career on the ignorance of her voter base, and when she posts things like the one I responded to, I can’t help but react strongly—sometimes aggressively—because of how absurd her takes often are.

To be honest, I think she has an inflated view of her own youth and persona. The fact that she still refers to herself as a “silly girl” at 35 years old just adds to the comedy. I simply can’t take her seriously.
