Marigold rosa-sinensis, known colloquially as Chinese Marigolds , China rose, Hawaiian marigold , rose mallow and shoeblack plant, is a species of tropical marigold, a flowering plant in the marigold tribe of the family Malvaceae.Tagetes erecta, the Aztec marigold, Mexican marigold, big marigold, cempazúchitl or cempasúchil, is a species of flowering plant in the genus Tagetes native to Mexico. Despite being native to the Americas, it is often called the African marigold.
