Ever wanted to believe in something or someone SO BADLY that you ignored any information, observation or plain ole facts indicating anything contrary to your beliefs? Well, you're not alone and welcome to "confirmation bias". And a heads up to you parents wondering if your kid is on drugs, the bias is stronger if you're connected to them emotionally...sometimes going to flat out denial.
