The Diary Game 3/8/2020 - Raksha Bandhan

in #thediarygame4 years ago

Hello steemiens , hope everyone is doing well and may God's gracious hand be upon you and your family. First of all i would like to wish a very happy Raksha Bandhan to all of you. If anyone who has no idea about , what is this festival!! Well it is a Hindu cultural festival , which celebrates the holy relationship , bonds between brother and sisters. Sisters basically tyes rakhi on the right wrist of the her brother , and she trusts her brother to help her in every situation of her life , this rakhi also reminds us , as a brother to protect her and support his sister in every ups and downs of the life.

Well i'm a Christian lad so i'm not familier with the all the rituals , what i did , as soon as i woke up , i prayed to God thanked Him for taking care of my sibbling sisters and cousins. Then i went to washroom freshed up , and was ready for my breakfast , i ate my breakfast then i gave a little helping hand to Buaji , as she was preparing food , basically khir😂, today almost every indian must be cooking Khir.

Then i called my cousins and wished them who are not in the city. We decided that everyone will come our home , so around 3pm everyone arrived at my home and we wished each other and had so many laughs together over silly jokes and remembering our childhood memories , teasing each other , it was really fun.

Here we were talking with our another cousin sister who was not with us this year , she was stuck in abroad , she studies there , but due to all this pendemic , she couldn't make it , to be with us , so we were all taking with her on video call.

After every rituals was done , it was time to eat , and one of my sibbling sister Priya prepared cheese balls for us. Khir was made by my cousin Dii Ranu Di. Gulab jamun was made by Buaji.

We ate all the delicious dishes , then we did photoshoots for about 20 minutes or so. Then me and my family gave them proper farewell , this year i couldn't buy any gifts for them , so i just gave them cash as their raksha bandhan gift.

I tried to upload the photos but i don't know , it keeps showing error , maybe network issue , but other apps such as youtube , instagram are running properly without any issue.

At the end we did our regular prayers and went to sleep. I know i'm bit late here , posting but my most of the time got wasted on error(image not uploading).

Happy Raksha Bandhan my friend and as I can see through your post, you had a wonderful, cheerful get together with your sisters on this occasion, so this occasion was well qualified for a celebration.

Have a great day.

Steem on.

Thanx buddy..and also thanx for visiting.😊

My pleasure.
