My DairyGame 01/09/2025 : An Unforgettable Day of Fishing at the Bizerte Bridge with My Friend Nizar

A beautiful day was ahead, and my friend Nizar and I decided to take advantage of our common passion for fishing by going near the Bizerte bridge, this bridge, an emblematic and strategic place in the city, offers a breathtaking view of the canal which connects the Mediterranean to Lake Bizerte, the atmosphere was cool, with a somewhat cloudy sky which promised a peaceful day far from the daily tumult, we had taken care to prepare our fishing rods and our bait, with the hope to capture some nice shots.
Arriving there, we set up our rods along the quay, every detail was calculated, from the choice of the place near the columns of the bridge to the depth at which we cast our lines, the water was astonishingly transparent, revealing the schools of fish swimming peacefully, waiting was an integral part of this experience, each moment being punctuated by enriching discussions with Nizar, where we exchanged on various subjects while keeping a close eye on our floats, the first A sign of activity on the other end of the line always caused an adrenaline rush, reminding us why we loved this activity so much.
The first catch of the day was a fish named "Lifi", a local species recognizable by its silver colors and its dynamic swimming. Nizar, all smiles, proudly showed off his catch, a moment that I did not fail to immortalize with a few photos, Each catch was a victory, the result of a well-honed strategy between patience and the judicious choice of bait, The environment was pleasant, between the soothing sound of the waves and the cries of the seagulls flying over the canal, these moments of communion with nature gave us a rare calm, far from the worries of everyday life.
As the day went on, another surprise awaited us: the capture of a ray, a majestic and imposing species, it was a moment both exciting and delicate, because this type of fish requires careful handling to avoid getting it. Injure ourselves with its sting, with the help of another fisherman present on site, we managed to reel in this magnificent creature, the emotions were there, between pride and admiration in the face of such capture, photos taken in those moments There remained precious memories of this experience.

The Bizerte bridge, in all its splendor, served as the backdrop for this day, the architectural details of the suspension bridge added a touch of elegance to the environment, curious passers-by sometimes stopped to admire our catches or Chatting briefly, sharing their own fishing stories, the atmosphere was friendly, and these interactions reinforced the sense of community that often accompanies this kind of outdoor activity.
At the end of the day, we dismantled our equipment and took inventory of our catch among the fish caught and the memories created, this day will remain engraved in our memories, fishing is more than a simple activity, is a means. to connect with nature, develop patience and appreciate the simple pleasures of life that we have left with a smile. Our patience is already running out. We already intend to repeat this experience in the near future, convinced that each outing reserves its share of surprises and amazement.
