THE DIARY GAME , 02/08/20 Today's Birthday Celebration

Hello people, how are you all doing, hope this situation of pandemic ends soon.

Beginning with the diary today , So it was a great day today as we all had lot of fun because today was my nephew's birthday

. So we got up and took bath went to market to buy some gifts for the little one. So me and my sister specially bought a box of chocolates and few dry fruits . So coming back from the market we came home and showed it to my parents as we have to hide it from the birthday boy.

so you can see in the picture the pack consists of dry like cashew , raisins , pistachios , and almonds we purchased it from Amritsar market and the cost of this pack is 3000 rupees which comes to 40 Dollars . Mother also liked the gift as it is such a healthy gift . After the discussions we had our morning breakfast which was 'Paneer Paratha ' and sauce after completing our breakfast we went for the decoration of the rooms as few of our relatives were about to come so we placed our cushions and cleaned the room.

AFTERNOON : At the afternoon we all prepared the lunch of pulao and then i distributed the ladoos among all my family members
this is basically a sweet in India which you can see in the picture which is prepared of nahidana and butter and some sugar with a mixture of dryfruits and a silver foil is decorated on the top of it. So after having the ladoos i made the room ready for the evening celebrations and then had my lunch because i can't work any further after having my lunch . Lunch of ours consisted of Pulao , Chicken curry and raita . Then after the lunch it was time for us to arrange the guest room so that when guests come in the evening everything should have been properly arranged and placed. Then we all went to decide the menu for the evening snacks as nobody was allowed to leave the house after 7:30 pm so guests won't be able to have their dinner. So mom suggested to make "Samosas and chat which is yet another Indian dish so we all helped mom in preparation of the stuffs .

Now was the evening time we all went took bath as because the weather was already too hot and we were sweating badly so without bath we won't have been able to look good . Meanwhile i placed the birthday cake on the table.

As you can see from the picture above how good and tasty the cake is looking and i kept the candles beside it. This candle stand in the picture is my favourite candle stand since childhood and i have kept it very safely as i was gifted it by my granny . The fews guests we called had already arrived by this time so the cake cutting ceremony began with such small number of people as it was risky to call more people in this pandemic situation and it is already a red zone in the place where we live so we kept the guests list so small.

the little girl Ladoo also enjoyed cutting the cake with her brother as she was so happy because she herself thought that it was her birthday too😀😀❤️ and was eagerly waiting for the cake. After the ceremony what we did is immediately plated the snacks and arranged them as it was already 6:30 pm and the guests had to leave early before the night carfew . We kept the snacks simple which consisted of Chaat with samosa .

This picture consists of Samosa , jalebi and kalajamun which is basically a sweet. In India we celebrate evey festival or occasion with sweets so the jalebi and kalajamun above is a type of Indian sweet.Then the round one with some gravy which is seen in the picture was also served which is known as. Kachori it is quite similar to samosa. After having all these snacks the guests waved good bye handed their gifts to the birthday boy and went back.

Night time we all were so tired so we decided to cook some simple food for us but mom told that she had already made some puris before hand so there was no need of cooking any further. So what we did was we went and saw what the birthday boy was doing 😍😍 and so we found him and the little girl was busy looking at their gifts and was waiting for our permission to open them.

These are the gifts which the Ayush got on his birthday party. Then after opening the gifts we went and had our dinner of puri and chicken which was cooked at the afternoon and kept in the fridge to remain fresh till night as the the weather is too hot here. And after having our dinner we watched our favourite serial for an hour and then everyone went to sleep as we were so tired today and i came to wrote my diary . This is how my day ended .
