Positive thinking has its tools: affirmations of course, but also relaxation and visualization. And to carry your positive thoughts in your pocket, create your support cards and vision board.

Positive thinking has its own tools

Affirmations:

Affirmations created positive thinking. When you realize that your thoughts are turning negative, worrying, or brooding over your worries, respond by repeating a positive statement.

The wording is important: the statement must be in the present tense and include "I" plus an affirmative action verb. For example: "I remain in control of myself at all times", "I constantly create positive thoughts which lead me to success" ...

But sometimes it's hard to believe, it seems artificial.

To overcome this obstacle, positive thinking uses relaxation.

The first relaxation helps to release tension. You cannot worry when you are completely relaxed physically!
Focus your attention on the rhythm of your breathing. Review the usual stress points to consciously relax: face, neck and shoulders, solar plexus, etc.

The importance of relaxation is that it puts you in a state of receptivity, where it will be easier to transmit positive images and thoughts from your consciousness to your subconscious.

Relaxation in the Positive Thinking Toolkit also prepares for an essential activity: creative visualization.

Visualization is an essential tool of positive thinking because it uses the imagination.

Rather than clenching your fists and using awareness, relaxation allows you to approach reprogramming your own mind in a relaxed way. The term may sound a little strong, but watch your life: your will comes and goes, it is not constant over the course of a day. You can't always call on her to help. But your beliefs, what you think you can or cannot do is with you in silence. And more often determines the result of your actions.

The visualization intervenes so that you imagine the situation that you want. You can imagine it then, as existing now. And not only mentally but also with the corresponding emotions. You are now putting yourself in a state of harmony, you are now experiencing success and the feeling of victory.

A daily session of relaxation and visualization can have dramatic effects, especially on the state of your positive thoughts during the day. But to reinforce this beyond the relaxation period (for 99% of the day!) There are some tools you can take with you:

Support cards.

If you practice positive thinking, it's because you have one or more goals. These goals, you visualize, you imagine, these objectives but you must also write them down, this allows you to define them, to draw the outlines: you will thus know when you have reached them!

Write a goal for each day on heavy paper (card), a size that fits in your pocket so you always have it with you. And you put the card preferably in a pocket where there will be nothing else: the simple fact of reaching out in your pocket, will give you the image of your objective!

Further in this vein: the "vision boards":

You build an image of your positive outlook. You can cut pages in a magazine, recover and edit images on the Internet all on an A3 sheet or on a nice medium of your choice, you will reproduce your vision in 2 dimensions. You dream of skiing cut the image of a skier and cut off the head to replace it with your own. The house of your dreams also finds its place there. The perfect work can be in pictures: preferred environment of colleagues.

There are no limits. If you are into scrapbooking, you will appreciate this! And if not, it does not matter: it still works!

Of course, after you create this board you will be excited. The ideal is to have it as often as possible in your field of vision. Take a photo of it and reduce it to a size that will fit in your pocket.
