Common Checkered Skipper (Pyrgus Communis)
It is such a happy day for me when I see insects in the garden. This gorgeous common checkered skipper landed on the brick to rest after she/he has some nectar on the zinnia flowers. Can you see the beautiful pattern on its wings? I love it! As small as a penny, and with digital technology, I am able to see so much detail on this beauty.
