How to market Crypto?
1+1=2 I think most people can agree on that. Shakespeare wrote some good stuff; most people can agree on that also. But what about marketing? It’s a funny subject. For every great piece of advice, you can find on the internet you can find someone else saying it’s the worse things you could ever do. Some things you would think would be obvious like have a catchy name but what about Microsoft. Have a good-looking logo/brand but what about Facebook. Don’t move into a crowded market but what if you think you can do what everyone else does but better?
Some people try and break the mould and are constantly reinventing themselves. Like when Coca-Cola put people’s names on the bottles. This reversed 10 years of downward sales overnight. This was the modern-day multipack. That sounds like a great idea if you have a 10 billion budget for marketing. How does the little guy get noticed?
Cryptocurrency is one of the most crowded and misunderstood markets there is. The common person on the street gets confused and assumes it’s the result of nerds in rooms with the lights off that search the darknet. In reality, it is slowly becoming more mainstream and the investors and the normal people you see on the street. They find what coins to invest in by reading websites, reviews, watching paid sponsorship YouTube videos and following friends that have the inside scoop. So how does a new coin market its self to these people, sound professional, genuine, but also at the same time offer a quality product that has a backbone built on technology and sound business case?
Privcy Coin has just partnered up with rock band Testament. Sounds weird I know but why not. They have a huge following and can reach so many young, technology friendly people with disposable income. After all, no one else has partnered with a rock band and until Bitcoin partner with Metallica, it is an easy market to get some attention and attract new members.
At the same time, they have had enough trading volume to be listed on CoinMarketCap and are almost approaching half way in their coin distribution airdrop. The second half of which tweaks the normal rules to make it a lot more rewarding for investors.
I am not sure if this is the most genius marketing decision the world has ever known but the bad decisions never get remembered. The good ones will be in the textbooks of our children's marketing books. The coins surely deserve a look though. Just for the audacity of having Testament on board and publicly promoting them.

Privicy is doing a great job i am glad we are now on steemit, but i will suggest we use the cryprocurrency tag for more visibily or check the feed for some popular tags that might help. Cheers!!
Upvoted for visibility
I honestly think this is a great partnership and only good things can come out of it both for Privcy and cryptocurrencies at large.
PRiVCY to the moon!
blyaaaat yes indeed bruda
Personally, I have liked the Idea for two fundamental reasons: 1.- I have followed the trajectory of Testament for about 18 years and I know of the musical and artitisque integrity of this band.
2.- I love the technology and benefits offered by cryptocurrency as a digital means of payment and if they have the plus of privacy as is the case of Privcy much more.
then they have managed to unite Two things that I love Metal and cryptocurrencies, this for me is literally something amazing and I know it will work! I know a lot of metal-rockers interested in crypts, that's why I say: Up Testament!!! and Up Privcy!!
Privcy is definitely one of the rare gems in the crowded cryptocurrency industry. A very dedicated team, very meticulous. Privcy is definitely going to be worth it in the long. I believe in Privcy
Congrats PRiVCY on the partnership with rock band Testament - way to rock on!
I hope this project will shine in the not too distant future, I really like everything, from your concept to your community.
