Tennis players grunt

Not a real story but do you guys know why tennis players grunt? Please share your comments because I would be interested in knowing why and hopefully other Steemians as well. My explanation is they go through a lot of pain. No disrespect to tennis players but the game does not seem to be that painful... Anyway, enjoy Wimbledon!:-)
