Have you ever heard people say that they felt something when a loved one who was somewhere else was going through a difficult ordeal or had an accident?
Is it a coincidence or a phenomenon of telepathy?

It is a British researcher who invented this term in 1882, it means "remote sensation". Indeed, telepathy is often thought of as one of the transmission of thought but telepathy is also the feeling of things in our body which is in fact a sort of receiver.

A friend once told me that he suddenly felt bad at work and that right after his wife called him saying that she was going to give birth. He felt bad during the whole birth and as soon as the baby came out he felt like a kind of release, relief. What he did not feel with his first two children he had with another woman.

Scientific approach

There have been many studies to try to prove that telepathy was a common capacity for all of us and that it was possible to reproduce it in the laboratory, in a controlled way.

For years, parapsychologists have invited thousands of people to participate in series of experiments, with more and more rigorous protocols, and which required ever more precise statistical calculations. Today, the existence of this paranormal faculty is officially and scientifically proven.

In 1997, American engineer and psychologist Dean Radin published a study of all parapsychology experiments conducted since the beginning of the century. Over the last twenty years, he has recorded 2,549 telepathy sessions carried out according to a specific protocol, and shows that these experiments are not accidents or illuminated dreams and are reproducible by any team of researchers.

The researchers have pushed the research especially with regard to the psychological factors that favor the appearance of this phenomenon. Using personality tests, parapsychologists have verified that they are more common among extroverts than introverts.

Another factor that plays an important role is the environment. If you have been raised in a family that does not have a priori against paranormal phenomena, you will have a much better chance of developing telepathic faculties.

Freud himself made pertinent remarks about telepathy, about the importance of the emotional factor that favors the transmission of thought.

Freud wrote: "Psychoanalysis has prepared us to admit phenomena as telepathy by inserting the unconscious between the physical and what has been called, until now, the psyche.

Telepathy is not obvious to everyone because some areas of our brain have been bridled in childhood to fit into the normal framework. Indeed, until the age of about 4, the child sees and hears things that adults no longer feel.

When he understands that his perceptions of the world do not fall within the normal framework of family dynamics, he will begin to repress this type of relationship with his environment. This is how his brain will prevent himself from decoding information from this frontier zone of the mind. At adulthood, our desires and fears naturally hamper our faculties of telepathy:

That's why one of the stages of telepathy work is to solve our blockages and fears. This process is sometimes long, but as soon as we understand that the psyche can open and close like the doors of a house, we discover that it is impossible to invade the minds of others or to let ourselves invade by them. One then becomes more attentive to one's feelings, to others, and one is able to use one's intuition in everyday life.
