The Art Of Laptops
Technological advancements can't be stopped at this point. Saying that war can slow it down is false, first world war was a boost for countries to compete with each other who had best tech. It's fascinating how far we have come.
The first computer was built in 1946 called ENIAC and it occupied about 1,800 square feet. It was a gigantic machine that could do very little and it was not particularly fast, but still it was a beginning for a great piece of technology that would eventually change peoples' lives.
I want to talk about the portable version of a computer. I just want to convey how comfortable it is to use it since i have started to use it. Well i don't want to brag (OK i am bragging), but recently i bought a very light, fast ultrabook and i am enjoying every part of it.
Right now i am making this post using this device. It just helps me to do things more quickly and efficiently. I Don't have to wait at least 1 hour to get home from my uni and then do the assignment. I can take it wherever i want and do the job on the go.
It would have been unimaginable in past that laptops would exist. In 20th century computer occupied the whole room and laptop nowadays occupies only you lap, hence the name "laptop". It is on top of you lap.
What i like about ultrabooks is that it boosts your appeal. People now view me as more of a serious and busy person. Right now i am sitting at my university's library and i just like to imagine how serious i look: "man, look at this guy, he has to be a very busy man," that is what i imagine.
The design some of the laptops have is true work of art. The slick design, beautiful carcass, the way keyboard feels are all essential part of it's design. The simplicity that is put into making laptops is a work of art.
All i want to say, is that i am grateful to people who make laptops so we can have access to this brilliant piece of technology. Life has become much more comfortable with my laptop and if someone can afford it, then that someone should purchase it.
