China defeated America in the aerial dance of drones. There is a new record
The Chinese company Ehang, known more widely in the world from its sky-high taxi, which will be part of the transport of the future, eg in Dubai, has prepared a spectacular aerial drone dance show.
And there would be nothing extraordinary about it, if not for the fact that with its show it went to the World Guinness Book of Records, for the synchronous flight of the largest number of drones in history.
During the performance in the sky appeared as many as 1374 drones with the meaningful name GhostDrone. Thus, Ehang beat the previous record from the opening ceremony of the Winter Olympics in Korean Pyongech, where Intel used 1218 drones.
Engineers from the Ehang company have organized their show for tens of thousands of people in the city of Xi'an. The company revealed that the preparations for a few minutes long show took several days, and the venture consumed about 1.5 million dollars.
