PC Tech - Part 2 - AMD to Cash in on the Mobile Market very soon, and it looks good.steemCreated with Sketch.

AMD for the most part has been that company that makes CPU's that aren't up to par with what Intel have developed. That was true up until recently when AMD shocked the market with its Zen Architecture based chip line up, most notably Ryzen and Threadripper.

Now they have taken everything that is good about the Zen architecture and Vega graphics. After some witch craft, they have made a mobile chip architecture called ''Raven Ridge'' and it will run at a rumoured 3.0 to 3.2Ghz. Now that is I need to clean my shorts territory.
Raven ridge is to be implemented in the next line up of AMD APU's for the mobile market.
They wont arrive until November or December this year (a date is to be confirmed), but details have been leaked but not many confirmed reports as of yet, only that there is a new raven ridge APU and what its for.

In the OpenCL Manifesto. Ryzen 7 2700u will utilize the RR Vega 10 mobile graphics, while the Ryzen 5 will have the RR Vega 8 Graphics.
The new APU's will be launched at the same time as the new Ryzen 2000 series APU and be the first to include Ryzen mobile chips.
Ryzen pro chips will be launched in early 2018 and will be aimed at the higher end of the market place.

Either way. I can not wait to see the benchmarks for this new architecture and see how fast it really is... it's enough to make you want a sex wee.

Thanks for reading.
