Unmanned wagon to deliver goods

Nuro launched a prototype of a compact cargo unmanned vehicle designed to deliver goods to customers within the city. This is written by The Verge.
Instead of upgrading and using for delivery of the Ford Focus or Lexus crossovers, Nuro decided to create a cargo shuttle that is about half the size of an ordinary passenger car.
Nuro R1 (working title) is equipped with a lidar, as well as several radars and cameras. In the car there is no place for the driver, steering wheel, pedals and gearbox. Due to its size, R1 can move both on roads and on sidewalks, the company says.
Startup plans to use cars to deliver products and essential goods from the store, as well as flowers, pizza and other not very large loads. To work with customers, the company will develop an application that will notify them of the arrival of the parcel to the home or office. To open the compartment with the goods you will need to enter the received code.
