Sonia Bashir Kabir was appointed as the newly appointed Managing Director of Microsoft Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan and Laos. Earlier he was working as the Managing Director of Microsoft Bangladesh.
Sonia Bashir Kabir will make a business decision about the goal of Microsoft's digital transformation in those four countries. The main goal of Digital Transformation is to improve the quality of the customers through consolidation of manpower, information and methodology and to compete in the digital world.
While performing this duties, he will work with the government, non-governmental and partner organizations for upcoming technology revolution infrastructures.
By 2018, the target of GDP growth of Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal and Laos was fixed at 7.1%, 6.9%, 6.9% and 6.5% respectively. In addition to GDP growth, the progressive manufacturing sector has improved the local economy to a greater extent, which ensures the use of technology in more people.
