The AMT (Automated Manual Transmission) will be available with the powerful 1-litre engine. However, the 1.0 litre and AMT avatars are expected to give the redi-GO a boost in its sales. Datsun has launched the AMT variant of the redi-GO in january and this has been liked by everyone so far. There is no cosmetic changes as such and the AMT is the same as the one in the Renault Kwid. It will all come down to how the gearbox has been calibrated to the engine. This new variant has been differenced between 25 to 30 thousand rupees than the current 1 litre variant.
Launched: January 2018
Price: Rs. 4 lakh

New Generation Maruti Suzuki Swift

The new Swift is lighter and more rigid than before. Maruti Suzuki is all set to merge in the new generation of the Swift with much fan followings than before. The new generation of the Swift is based on the all-new HEARTECT platform, which is lighter and more rigid than the current version. We don't expect any changes in terms of the engines, but the 1 litre boosterjet will see the addition of an RS model which will be sportier and more powerful. Which means that the all new generation of Maruti Suzuki Swift will be much more smoother and faster than before! ;) isnt that exciting?
We expect it to be made available in both, manual transmission and an AMT, right from its launch. So lets see what does the manufacturer give us on its launch.
Maruti Suzuki is going to put the car on display at the Auto Expo held in February 2018 and will launch the car soon after that Auto Expo.

The Mahindra MPV will be a 7 seater. In short, it is a car best for family and group of friends. Mahindra has had a good run with its MPVs, The new MPV will be a seven seater and is likely to get a monocoque construction.
Well actually it's still too early for the company to share any more details about the car and its specs. But we expect the car to launch by March 2018. Most probably. :)

(Best for family trips ;) )

Hyundai Santro

The all new Hyundai Santro will go against the likes of the Tiago, Celerio, Kwid, redi-GO, i20, swift etc. It is being discussed that there is a chance of seeing the car at the 2018 Auto Expo in February and a launch soon after that event. At the launch, it will go against the likes of Maruti Suzuki Celerio, Renault Kwid, and Tata Tiago. We expect to see a 0.8-litre and 1.0-litre engine options, possibly the same petrol millage that the i10 used to offer. Which would be a great news for those fellows who focus on millage while buying a vehicle. :) Transmission is to be carried out by a 5-Speed manual gearbox and Hyundai might also consider offering an AMT option, seeing the growing demand for an automatic option in entry level cars in India. Though it is not so sure yet. Lets hope for the best.

Honda Amaze is a special car for Honda India as it started the brand’s diesel innings in India. The new generation Honda Amaze is providing a wider and more comfortable cabin along with some updated features. Honda plans to launch six models over the next three years, and will kick-start this line-up with the second generation Amaze. We expect that the rest of the models will be launched by the company like one model per year for the next three years. The sub-compact sedan will receive a complete revamp and will be a lot more premium and updated to the market. The new Amaze will sport a wider and comfortable cabin, along with new equipment, features, technology and better quality materials. The new generation Amaze will continue with the same platform while the 1.2 -litre petrol and 1.5 litre diesel engines will be made available for more power and more fuel economy. Which is a great news for Honda Amaze lovers and same for the millage lovers too. Hope it will impress everyone by this new generation.

Hyundai i20 Facelift

i20facelift.jpg

The Hyundai i20 facelift will come with design changes to match the company's global design language. Hyundai is popular for its impressive and classic designs. Hyundai has been testing the i20 facelift for now, and the updated premium hatchback will go on sale in 2018, but the date/month is not declared yet. But people are discussing that it will launch it in mid of 2018, most probably. The refreshed model will get styling tweaks in-line with Hyundai's global design language, and will sport a larger grille, the same headlamps and tweaked taillights. The cabin too will get updated including a touchscreen system with connectivity options like Apple Carplay and android auto. This is expected by almost everyone now-a-days because of the trending technology. We hope Hyundai will provide it in its new generation i20 Facelift. Engine options will remain the same on the i20 Facelift, but with a better fuel efficiency than before. Another affordable car for millage lovers. ;)

Expected Price: Rs. 5.5 lakh - 8.5 lakh

I think this year is gonna be the best year for everyone. As there are launches which are gonna offer high class models and as well as low class models too. So those who are dreaming of owning a new car with fresh and updated technology and features are gonna rush at the showrooms and Auto Expo while the launchings.
Its gonna be a big bash on the Indian shores in automotive industry. :)
