Rolls-Royce Company is going to developing 'Flying Taxi'!
These taxis can carry 4-5 passengers and fly like a helicopter.
The carmaker Rolls-Royce is building a kind of engine that will use the 'Flying Taxi' on the streets in the middle of the decade. News BBC online.
The British company said that their taxi would be able to carry 4-5 people and fly like a helicopter. It is called 'Electric Vertical Take-Off and Landing' (EVOLOL) transport. This taxi can fly up to 500 miles to 250 miles per hour.
Six electric propulsions will be run using gas turbine technology in this EVOLOG machine at Rolls-Royce. Although the fan is like a helicopter, its sound will be very low. Fans can rotate up to 90 degrees, so it can fly and land like a normal helicopter. It can use any airport and helipad.
Many companies are trying to create flying gear. Rolls Royce joins them. Rolls-Royce's Chief of the Electoral Team of Robes Royce Rob Watson publishes this plan of flying taxi on the occasion of Fernáborough airshow exhibition in the UK. He said, "This model can be released in the market by 2020."
Rolls-Royce will work with other companies as partners in implementing this plan. Originally they will take help from other companies to create airframe makers and electrical systems.
For many years, science fiction has been a part of the flying vehicles. However, companies are planning to make the imagination realistic in Rolls-Royce Airbus, Uber, Kitty Haq.
