It has been around for more than fifty years. CES provides a global stage for tech innovations and has recieved accolades from global tech giants of the day. The CES has has always been the plaform where innovations that have changed this world have been unveiled, and the 2018 one is no exception. Last year, AI became one of the most talked about topics at the show. It ended up being a topic no innovator could write off. The field is among the most invested in for the year 2017.

So what should we anticipate.. for the CES2018 in Vegas?
There's so much to be show cased at the show. We cant talk about everything, but there's a couple of things we can't wait! Artificial intelligence is still gonna be a at the centre of it all, I presume. Last year saw so many companies dig a bit deeper into it. Amazon arguably carried the show. The technology was seen in a number of gadgets including fridges, car robots, baby monitors and Amazon's own speaker, Echo.
Times now seem to favour gadgets that are more responsive and 'intelligent'. Last year's keynote speaker Jen-Hsun Huang, Founder & CEO, NVIDIA shared a lot on artificial intelligence. It gave me a different and deeper understanding of what AI really is, its potential and risks all together. In the CES2018 we're definately going to see AI on a whole other level. In the sense that a very big percentage of the products will embrace AI. A cuople will take it to a crazy and perhaps scary level. Reason why CES2018 is likely to be one of a kind.

Remember Im only mentioning just a couple in every topic of interest..
Gadgetry
Sony just announced it has a major unveiling on this particular event. On Sony’s website earlier this month, a couple of mysterious user agents with the model numbers H8116 and H8166 were discovered. Further investigation revealed devices with model numbers H8216, H8266, H8276, and H8296, but the H8266 seems the most likely candidate for Sony’s Snapdragon 845-powered smartphone.
The Snapdragon 845 SoC is the flagship chipset that Qualcomm announced earlier this month, and it’s packed to the brim with features such as UHD Premium video recording feature, which to bring lifelike colors to the next generation of devices, and the built-in Secure Processing Unit, which keeps critical data as secure as possible.
Sony’s upcoming smartphone won’t be the only one with the Snapdragon 845, Xiaomi’s planning to use it in the Mi 7, and that select Chromebooks might use it, too.
A hands-on video has cropped up on the web, featuring Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy A8 (2018) and Galaxy A8 Plus (2018). The leaked YouTube video (via GSM Arena) of the working Galaxy A8 and A8+ shows the two phones side-by-side and reveal them from all angles.

The Galaxy A8 (2018) and Galaxy A8 Plus (2018) also incorporates Samsung’s voice-activated Bixby assistant and IP68 certification against dust and water damages. And when it comes to internal components, they will be powered by an Exynos 7885 mobile processor and 6GB RAM, and a face unlock feature. The Galaxy A8 (2018) is said to come with a 3,000mAh battery, while the Galaxy A8 Plus (2018) should come with a slightly bigger 3,500mAh battery. Both devices will get either 32GB or 64GB of internal storage.
This is just but two among many gadgets I speculate and wait on as the day approaches.
It won't go without talking crypto.. We all know...
Over the course of the event, experts in blockchain technology from all domains of the tech industry will speak on several hot topics such as IoT, digital wallets, mobile apps and Dapps, money management, and the sharing economy. The conference will culminate with “Blockchain Unbound,” which is a discussion about “Where is the blockchain taking us and how will cryptocurrencies play into the future of world economies?” This panel will be moderated by Michael Terpin, founder of the BitAngels/Transform Group, and will include speakers from Consensys Systems LLC, Bloq, Adgetec, Bitcoin.com, and Blockchain Capital.
The blockchain’s presence at the conference signifies another milestone to mainstream adoption. By highlighting panels that examine the blockchain and its numerous applications, shows an unprecedented event that is both exciting and crucial for the blockchain being embraced by industries outside of the crypto space.
The ces2018 is gonna be massive. A lot to learn for the beginners as well as the vets. I'm waiting to see. I have a feeling some innovations will be very shocking. The human brain has never felt as threatened. Wait until you get to see the smartest of robots. Smart enough to make you feel intimidated.
Its more than 4000 innovations to be showcased.. We cant even cover a fraction. However we can keep the conversation going. Something excites you about CES2018?
