Blincam: The smart glasses that take pictures when you blink.

Google Glass, a kind of intelligent glasses with internet access created by Google, may have not got to the path the company wanted. But that does not mean that the concept of using the eyes in electronic functions have been forgotten by the technology industry.
A Japanese startup concluded this week the crowdfunding campaign for Blincam. Blincam is a camera coupled to the rim of the glasses and connected to a smartphone via Bluetooth, that allows the user to take pictures just blinking.

The Blincam comes with a small motion sensor to capture the blink of an eye, and internal memory of 32GB to store pictures. The resolution of the images, however, was not revealed. You can check the result of each photo in a synchronized app on your phone, or by connecting the Blincam to a PC via a USB cable.
The funding campaign that made the project possible was asking the equivalent of U$ 10.000, but eventually surpassing the goal and reaching U$ 90.000. The company that developed the device will start selling it from December 2016.
