in #technology8 years ago (edited)

If You dream of a Mercedes-AMG GT R, but You need to carry rear passengers, there is a solution. The photo shows the C63 Coupe without camouflage to the bodywork, similar to the R version. There is also the probability that the model enters the line of Black Series, which the company plans to revive.

Regardless of how Mercedes-AMG is called a loaded C63 Coupe, the design traced changes aimed at improving performance. In the front there was a small diffuser holes, which provide cooling and increase downforce the front part. At the bottom of the bars appeared the chrome finish. Chrome continues on the rapids and back. But the biggest change was the spoiler. It significantly increases downforce. The prototype trunk lid black in color, but in production models it will be painted in the body color.

The only thing that indicates the motor is under the hood, this label "V8 Biturbo" on the front wing. There can be two options. The 4.0-liter Biturbo V8 from AMGGT R at 577 HP (430 kW) and 699 Nm. Same engine, but the 550 HP (410,1 kW) and 680,6 Nm from C AMG GT Roadster. Any of them will be boosted to more than 503 HP (375,1 kW) and 699,6 Nm current C63 S Coupe.

While not reported, when AMG is planning to introduce a loaded C-Class. Judging by the lack of camouflage, Mercedes believes that have nothing to hide. Given the abundance of dealerships, we can assume that the presentation of the C63 Coupe R will be held soon.
