Man-made Alien Race - NOW and in ten years

Until recently, I was under the impression that the term "A Singularity" was a scientific concept describing a super strong gravitational force produced by a super dense mass which has accumulated over time and become so large, and therefore strong that nothing can escape it. In other words, the term is synonymous with " A Black Hole".

Not even light can escape this powerful force and within the confines of its inescapable influence, there is no time and therefore, ostensibly, no space.

Well to my surprise, I have learned that the term can also apply to an eventuality precipitated by the unwise and or ineffectual implementation of security or fail-safe measures designed to protect humanity and other life forms, whilst designing and manufacturing artificial intelligence in machinery or robots.

The advances in this field are truly staggering and the forecast for a collection of machines, far more "intelligent" than humans, is so short a time span that it is bound to leave anyone aghast on discovery.

The like of Elon Musk have stated something to the effect : " Imagine you become aware that within the next 10 to twenty years, we will be visited by an alien race of incomparable intelligence to our own. A race which may have no consideration for our frailty, our inferior capacities and our reliance on limited uneconomical resources. Well that is exactly what is about to occur, as we are already advanced in our development of this "alien race" in the form of self learning artificial intelligence which has vast knowledge at its "fingertips" and infinitely superior speed in thinking, strength, speed, reflex, durability and independence from living bodies.

The term singularity in this context refers to the state in which humanity is extinguished, or has become extinct and the machines continue reproduce themselves and evolve as a lifeless, yet powerful artificial force in this universe.

This is called a "Technological Singularity"

Elon Musk is one of few highly influential individuals who has expressed grave concern about such a singularity as a result of his relationships with those who have built this dream and are completely committed to it. Despite his concerns, he is at the forefront of this development, along with Microsoft, Google and subsidiaries of each, to the best of my knowledge.

Don't take my word for any of this, investigate it yourself.

Anyone who is seriously concerned about the future of mankind, there own progeny and life on earth should, in my estimation, be aware of these predictions and the progress in this field and be prepared to make decisions about supporting or opposing such developments.

Having discussed some of these concepts with colleagues, I see significant congruency with biblical and other prophecy and scientific predictions made by those who tend to think beyond their time and write about there visions for the future.

Rather than paint pictures for you, I suggest your own investigation of the phenomenon.

If the predictions are as they seem, then if you are less than 80 years old then this affects your future, let alone that of your children and grand children.
