Reliance Jio is once again preparing to do something for Indian customers like the company has done with Geo Sim and Phone. According to reports, Shaoomi Chinese smartphone maker is preparing to partner with Shaoomi. Under this, some new products and services can be launched.
According to sources, it is reported that under this partnership, televisions and smartphones of Chinese companies in India will be sold through Geo Retail Network and Reliance Digital Store. According to a report by ET, some people from Shomei have met Reliance Jio officials several times last week.
In fact, Shaomi not only sells mobile phones in China but also focuses on the company's focus on Consumer Electronics. In India, Shaomi now sells smartphones, air purifiers, power banks, speakers, router and accessories. The company wants to bring its second consumer electronics product in India and it is expected that the company can do this by partnering with Reliance Jio.
Shomei needs to get permission from the authorities to bring and sell India's products other than smartphones in India. Shaomi has also applied for this. Since Reliance Jio has retail outlets throughout the country, so Shomei can work with Geo while using business-to-business marketing.
At present there is no official statement from the company. In the current round, Shaoomi is standing equally in the Indian smartphone market. Shomomi, a Singapore based research firm, has sold 8.2 million units, while Samsung's 7.3 million smartphones are sold.
