Do you also have the function to manage and edit screenshots in the Google app? (updated

Clues about it were recently re-emerged in the teardown of the APK of the last beta, but in truth it is a function in A / B testing that has been circulating for almost a year. We refer to the screenshot editor integrated in the Google app, which in these hours has appeared to some of us, possible indication of a rollout on a larger scale.

More specifically, if you were caught up with this new feature, when you capture a screen within the Google app, you will be asked if you would like Big G to help you edit and share screenshots. In the event of an affirmative answer, on the occasion of each acquired screen a dedicated area will appear on the bottom of the display, thanks to which you can edit or share the screenshot.

If you opt for the change, you will be redirected to a simple but practical editor, which will allow you to resize the screen captured or insert text, and then share it later. A useful feature that, however, only affects the Google app, it is not a system function. As already written in the title, at this point we are curious to ask you if you have been reached by this novelty

The Engadget colleagues hypothesize that the introduction of the screenshot editor can currently be a prerogative of the last beta released by the Google app, or version 7.21.

However much the speech may be for some of us, for others it would seem right, as you can see yourself from the image below. In fact, despite the beta installed, the function is still absent (in the Account and privacy menu, there should be a setting to activate or deactivate the function). The most probable hypothesis, therefore, remains that this is a novelty implemented on the server side.
