What does a dual camera mean?

The built-in dual camera is actually a camera with dual lens(which is also called stereo camera) and makes the picture brighter and more detailed. The stereo camera is a camera type with two or more lenses which different sensor for images or movie background for every lens.

How does the dual camera work?
Simply the phones have dual camera, which works together - a main camera and a second main camera. The main camera does the same job (Or with a little modification) like the ordinary camera, but the second main camera has 2 functions. The first function is to add clarity to the picture, using monochrome function, but the second camera is for zooming and scaling. Sometimes in the cameras with dual lenses, the first one is for shooting the images and the second one is for catching the depth of the field.

The advantage of the dual lens camera:

  • Greater field depth in the images
  • Faster focus
  • Ability to redirect
  • Better clarity of the picture
