This Is How The First Cans Of Drinks In The World That Cool Themselves Work - Steemit

Drinking a hot beer can be a bad experience. Hops acids are broken down by light, affecting their flavor and making it unpleasant.

A hot drink can become too sweet and an iced coffee loses all its sense if it is not taken at the right temperature.

But what do you do if you do not have a fridge on hand or ice to cool the product?

The California company The Joseph Company, specializing in technology and food, has just launched a system that aims to solve the problem: "the first can of the world that cools itself," he says on his website.

This is an initiative that has achieved special recognition from NASA (the US space agency), an award from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and another from the US military.

The American company claims that it has been developing and refining the technology behind the cans that cool themselves for two decades - which he has called "MicroCool" - and that the beverage industry had been trying to create for 70 years.

"Consumers in areas with limited refrigeration, participants in activities such as camping, fishing or navigation, and small merchants will understand the impact that self-cooling represents today for society," says the American firm.

It works through a "revolutionary technology that automatically cools the beverage of your choice in (barely) a minute, without using electricity, energy or ice."

Cans - whose trade name is Chill-Can - can now be sold on the shelves of the 7-Eleven US supermarket chain in 15 stores in the greater Los Angeles, California area.
