It Looks Like Nokia 9 Has Been Leaked By Nokia Itself

in #technical7 years ago

HMD Global is set to launch a ton of new phones on the MWC 2018 and among them is one of the most anticipated phones from the company in quite a while, the Nokia 9. While we know a lot about the phone thanks to some leaks, the latest look at the upcoming phone seems to be coming directly from the company.

Indonesian blog detiklNET posted a set of photos which looks to be the upcoming Nokia flagship phone from the company on the hands of an HMD Global official. Considering the phone in photos does not have a clear model number or name, it could also be the upcoming Nokia 7 Plus. According to the report, the phone will have a curved display much like Galaxy S8 and Note 8 ad it may also come with the taller 18:9 aspect ratio.

The back panel of the phone appears to be a glass coated which makes it possible to charge the phone wirelessly, something that is impossible to do with metal back phones. apart from that, the phone will come with a vertical dual camera setup with 13-megapixel primary sensor and a 12-megapixel secondary sensor.

Nokia 9 is rumored to come with a 5.5 inch Full HD display and to be powered by a Snapdragon 835 SOC and 128 GB of inbuilt storage. There will be a 3250 mAh battery on the phone and it will come preinstalled with Android 8 out of the box

Considering the phone will be competing with Google Pixel 2 XL and iPhone X, it will be interesting to see how the phone sells on the market and on what price.
