Steemit Learning Clubs: An Idea For Multi-Vendor E-commerce Platform

I am Joseph Afen with the Steemit username @josepha and I am so excited to share my ideas for a project here so I can be assisted by someone who is an expert in the field to partner with me if possible. If we look around the world even in our various communities we will see that people are looking for the easiest way to shop which e-commerce platform is a platform that provides millions of people with an easy way to shop online.
For more than 2 years now, I have been looking for a way to develop an e-commerce website because I have solid ideas about managing such a platform, but lack the capability of creating the platform because I am not an expert in programming, especially blackened design.
Project Overview:
My goal is to develop a multi-vendor e-commerce platform that can be accessed both on the website and application, where multiple sellers can be able to list their products on the platform and buyers can purchase from different vendors including what I would be listed in one place. The platform would be like that of Jumia, and Amazon marketplace which in the platform I would want chatbots, dynamic pricing, wallet, and AI-driven recommendations to be included.
The above shows the little effort that I have put into developing the project. I think I need more modification in the project and I would even appreciate it if someone could guide me through developing this project as I have better features to be integrated into the project.
In what I have done so far, I have created a feature that would allow buyers to buy whatever they want and pay with cryptocurrencies such as STEEM, USDT, BTC, and TRX which I would need an API for. However, API integration and blackened design are part of the challenges I am facing in this project. With that being said, let's look at the key features of this project.
Project Key Features
For this project, I have developed some features but I still feel that these features are outdated features that I need to rebrand or better still add some key features to the ones I have created as shown in the screenshot.
Profiles & User Authentication:
These are the features that would allow both buyers and sellers to create and manage their accounts. It would give users, customers, and sellers the option to log in with either their Facebook, Google, or the account created from the platform.
Search Functionality & Product Listing:
This is the feature that would allow sellers to add, edit, and delete product listings like products that have been sold out. Also, the feature would have advanced search with filters for brand, rantings, price, category, etc. I also plan on adding AI-powered recommendations.
Shopping cart & Checkout
As I have said earlier, the project will project multiple payment options this feature would provide secure checkout with different payment options (bank transfer, cryptocurrency, PayPal, credit cards) and many others. To attract more customers it would have promo codes, coupons, and discounts for shopping.
Seller Dashboard
This is the feature that would allow sellers to view sales analytics, track orders and manage inventory. Also, there would be AI-powered pricing suggestions based on demand and competitor prices.
Key Features Expert Should Come in
As I keep saying despite my ideas for this great project there are a lot of things that I and finding difficult to develop which I would need the assistance of an expert. I would experts to assist me in developing the following features:
AI Chat for Customer support to assist customers in finding products answer some common queries and track orders.
Delivery tracking & Order management to help both buyers and sellers track their orders in real-time.
Admin Panel for site management where staff and management of the platform would be able to manage users' transactions, products, and information which it would be nice to integrate as a means of detecting fraud. These and several other features would make this project accessible across the world.
Needed Tech Stack
To accomplish this project I would need the hand of experts and finance to help in managing the following: frontend, backed designs, database, Payment gateway, and Authentication and others that would be added in the future. As you can see the project is still in the first stage of development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Why This is a Good Idea
E-commerce business is one of the most profitable businesses and it provides employment opportunities for people to work and earn a living this project would be a good way of creating employment in our society. Besides this, the project is scalable meaning it can accommodate multiple vendors across the world. Users can use the platform to generate income through premium listings, commissions, and ads.
Having said all this I am using this opportunity to call on all experts on the Steemit platform to look into this idea.

Hi @ josepha , I wouldn't say that since the last few years websites like eBay, Amazon or Alibaba have been one step behind compared to online shop applications belonging to social media Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest Shopee and the TikTok Shop platform. Although in 2023 Amazon created their trading options through Facebook and Instagram features. Your idea is interesting! To build a trading business platform requires a big step, which starts with careful planning such as target market, form/method of payment, building an attractive digital marketing strategy and several others.
I'm not talking about platform modifications, store names or SEO. Apart from promotional strategies to find customers, we realize that it is a big challenge to start from scratch, because the new platform has to deal with a number of customers who are generally active users of several of the world's leading social media shop platforms.
Customers prioritize convenience, such as express service,
promotional prices, goods purchased according to orders and payment for goods in the form of COD, namely Cash on delivery.
I admit that your project plan is really interesting, I hope your trading platform is implemented well. If your work is successful, then we are proud to be able to shop and transact online using Steem and Tron for all users of this platform, or outside the platform and in whatever country we are in.
You know the advancement of social media platforms which now provide a means by which people can market and promote their stuff on social media, is the reason why most of these e-commerce platforms have less traffic. For security purposes and convenience people still find it convenient to shop via e-commerce platforms rather than via social media.
As for promoting and marketing it is something that shouldn't be left behind because without promotion/marketing, there would be no visibility about the business as people wouldn't get to know more about it. Promotion/marketing are very important for both a new and old startup.

Of course it's interesting! because the e-commerce platform is more secure and strong access to global retailers, but with heavy market competition for global sales targets.
That's right, promotion of platforms and products is very important because a large number of buying people use their social media, and not for non-using people, because they will not come to any online shopping center.

E-commerce platforms are booming everywhere and many people are selling their products online. This had led to the start of the online businesses with more visibility and exposure.
