TechClub Brandkit: Colors and Typography

Continuing with the design of the brand manual we are already reaching the final stage of this creation, today we will design two very important pages of the Manual which are the colors and typography, in these are defined the fonts that are frequently used in the brand and the basic colors allowed. The first thing I did when I opened the file again was to organize everything in different layers and assign it different identifying colors to be able to maintain an order and that the other people who can work on this manual can see everything in a simple way.

In this way we manage to build a solid structure that allows us to perfectly identify the parts of the entire file, since the final file will be loaded with elements. As always we copy the Layout that we have already defined previously, we modify the titles and the page number and start working on it.

For the colors what I did was trace boxes of 400 × 800 pixels, and doubling these boxes reduce their size by 200 pixels high to achieve a kind of gradient but with solid colors. I had three main boxes which I assigned the three colors of the brand, green, white and black and to each of them I made a kind of gradient to identify allowed nearby tones.

Having defined the colors, the next thing was to move to the next sheet which would cost the fonts present in the brand, for this again I doubled the layout and adjusted it to the design to change the title and sheet number and start working on this section.

For the fonts I decided to place the name of the typeface in green color of the brand, bold and centered and all the characters of the font in regular size and aligned to the left in order to highlight the name of the typeface in question.

In the last episode of this project we will create some mockups and define the cover and back cover of the document, we will also export it to PDF and finally we will upload all the resources to the GitHub repository to deliver 100% finished the project.

In the next publications of this project we will build what will be the complete manual of the brand so that it can be used correctly by other people.
