Deadmau5 Works with NVIDIA to Bring Five Tricked-Out PC

deadmau5 is a major figure in the music industry. What people don’t know is that he is also a gamer, a racer and quite a collector!

Joel Zimmerman, known worldwide as deadmau5, is a Canadian progressive house music composer. Many mistake him to be a DJ, but during his performances, he captures the crowd’s hearth with his amazing music. He is also a huge gamer; he has many hours logged in games like Minecraft and Diablo, to name a few.

deadmau5, is also a racer; he takes place in many Gumball events. He personal car collection includes the McLaren P1, the Lamborghini Huracan (Purracan), and more. When both parties approached one another, the goal was to create five custom designs. The idea is to built the PCs using his cars’ unique design and paint job as a reference. Each one will also be paired with functionalities and “personality” of their respective vehicles inspiration.

“Because I like computer games and computers, and playing around with graphics and technology in general, it seemed natural that I would go into the way of electronic music production,” said deadmau5. “On my days off from making music, I’m still at the same computer playing video games.”

“Computers have been at the very core of my life,” he adds.

deadmau5 is the perfect partner for NVIDIA on many aspects.

“The PC design project is the center of our innovation in technology and what we can get our computers to do,” said creative director at NVIDIA Jules Mann. “We’re looking to partner with all kinds of creative innovators that can take what we make and infuse it into their projects to push it to the next level.”
